Simultaneous Dual-Aircraft Operations Drive a Breakthrough in Production Capacity

On June 29, 2026, Jiangsu New United Goderich Aviation successfully completed the delivery of a Korean Air B787 wide-body aircraft, marking a successful conclusion to the delivery operations for "Safe Production Month." Throughout the month, the company focused on the core objectives of "enhancing safety and quality" and "stabilizing production while increasing efficiency." While strictly adhering to safety protocols, the company achieved comprehensive operational improvements, successfully completing painting and delivery tasks for a total of four civil aircraft: two B737-800 narrow-body jets, one A330 wide-body jet, and one B787 wide-body jet.

Leveraging its mature operational systems, standardized safety management mechanisms, and superior facility resources, the company successfully implemented a production model featuring simultaneous, parallel operations on two wide-body aircraft, thereby decisively overcoming the capacity limitations associated with single-aircraft workflows.

Demonstrating Exceptional Capability and Garnering Widespread Acclaim

When the first South Korean B737-800 aircraft arrived at the Jiangsu New United Goderich Aviation hangar for painting, the event drew significant attention and coverage from mainstream local media in Changzhou. The resulting reports quickly went viral online, sparking enthusiastic discussion among the public.

The progression from independently servicing a single narrow-body aircraft to executing specialized projects for wide-body aircraft—and now simultaneously painting two wide-body jets—culminating in the successful, high-quality delivery of each aircraft, serves as a clear testament to Jiangsu New United Goderich Aviation’s long-standing technical expertise, unwavering commitment to strict quality standards, and steadily improving capabilities in full-aircraft maintenance and delivery.

The smooth arrival, efficient and compliant processing, and subsequent departure of these international aircraft would not have been possible without the strong support of Changzhou’s government bodies at all levels, as well as functional departments such as Customs, Border Inspection, and Exit-Entry authorities. To ensure the efficient handling of these cross-border aircraft projects, Changzhou Customs established a dedicated task force, while Changzhou Border Inspection appointed a specific "enterprise liaison officer." Through this collaborative support, the company is successfully bringing "Made in China" excellence to the global stage.

Process Upgrades Hone the Technical Team's Practical Expertise

It is worth noting that the A330 aircraft delivered this month marked the company's first collaboration with China Eastern Airlines. It also represented the first time the company utilized a chemical paint-stripping process—distinct from mechanical sanding—which involves using a chemical agent to break down the paint on the aircraft's surface. The implementation of this new process demanded higher standards regarding technical control, execution precision, and procedural compliance. Through the concerted efforts of various departments, the project team overcame numerous challenges to complete the delivery with high standards and quality; this achievement has further enriched the company's technical capabilities and honed the practical expertise of its technical team.
